Burlington City Arts, along with MSR Presents and Angioplasty Media present a free concert series in August in City Hall Park, featuring regional indie rock bands and a cash bar from Long Trail Brewing at The BCA Center. The concerts run three consecutive Thursdays, August 9th, 16th and 23rd, beginning at 6:30pm on the BCA Center Plaza in City Hall Park.

Thursday, August 23rd, 6:30pm: You Won’t w/ Paper Castles

You Won’t is an indie-folk outfit from Massachusetts but their sound is genre defying. They pull from the worlds of folk, indie-rock, garage rock, soul, and blues. You Won’t is a venerable music chameleon. No matter what genre they find themselves in, it seems to fit. Although they are sound shifters, they don’t let themselves get bogged down with too much instrumentation. This allows them to produce songs of various genres while retaining a sound that is unique to them.http://youwontyouwont.com
